Weathersby Guild of San Francisco & Sacramento

A LEGACY OF EXCELLENCE BACKED BY A CENTURY OF FURNITURE REPAIR EXPERIENCE

Furniture repair, restoration & refinish in the San Francisco & Sacramento area.

COVID-19 Operational Status

We are still doing business, to include in-home repairs and moving claim inspections. We have adjusted our processes, especially for moving claim inspections. We do all we can to manage those risks to minimize chances of exposure. We vehemently observe social distancing and wear masks in your home.

We consider it our responsibility to minimize the spread. We expect our clients to do the same -- for us and all other people. If you have an appointment and have been potentially exposed between the time we make the appointment and the appointment, call us and postpone. There is no inspection, repair or refinish work that is more critical than your health, our health and the health of others.

About Us

Core Values and Principles

We repair, refinish and restore furniture. We put our clients above ourselves. If we can do touchups instead of a refinish, we will recommend touchups. We do not exceed estimates, and if the end cost is less than the estimate, we only charge what it took.

We now offer a highly durable traditional, hand-rubbed finish that displays the richness of the wood in your heirloom, antique or fine furniture. It even brings out more beauty in many contemporary pieces. Better yet, it is more environmentally friendly (all natural) and does not add any cost to our services.

Making Your House A Home Again

Our homes are our castles, our refuge for comfort, security and memories. How we decorate and furnish our homes create memories, and in many cases preserve our memories.

Specializing in wood, we repair and restore your furniture, preserving the memories you treasure most. We also repair and restore other products and items.

Antiques are restored/refinished to still appear antique. The beauty of the antique lies within the character it displays, not the perfection of all surfaces. We do not believe an antique should look showroom-new. If you want showroom new, I recommend buying new or seeking out one of our competitors who do not adhere to this principle. We also prefer the "less is more" approach, and only refinish if necessary.
