"We had some minor damage to a few pieces of furniture that occurred during our move to San Francisco from Kansas City, MO. Our moving contractor’s insurance company connected us with Weathersby Guild of San Francisco to make the necessary repairs in an effort to restore our damaged furniture pieces to an acceptable condition. After inspecting the damage arrangements were made for one of their refinishers to come to our home to perform the restoration. Their refinisher, Stanley, arrived at our home right on time and proceeded to immediately start working on the projected 5 hour assignment. He was very neat and courteous and took great pains to be meticulous with the repairs. He finished just slightly ahead of schedule and upon inspection of his work I could not see where there had ever been any damage. The scratches and gouges in our wood bedroom set and dining room buffet were undetectable! It does not appear that there was ever any damage! Stanley did an excellent job and I would recommend Weathersby Guild for any future furniture repair and refinishing. In fact, I also had them take a night stand from another bedroom set that had significant blemishes on the top so that they could refinish its surface. Although I don’t have the piece back yet I have full confidence that it will be like brand new when the refinishing work is completed."
